Got inspiration from Titan Fall 2 and BioShock Infinite where switching dimension/reality is either important to the story or a game mechanic. Game is finished, I passed the class.

  • Can go back in any game level
  • Added parallex background
  • Can switch realities (partially)

Version 1.2 

  • Can fire bullets from blaster (with impact effect)
  • Fixed parallax effect
  • Added animation for shooting when pressing the fire button

Version 1.3 

  • Added new enemy "Gonk Droid"
  • Able to mute all audio together with "P" key
  • Fixed shooting animation. When holding down the fire animation animation kept repeating even though there were no lazers being fired
  • Get unstuck by using "I" key
  • Restart level by using "O" key
  • Partially fixed issue with player getting stuck in wall. If the player was close to a wall and flips direction the player won't flip until the distance is greater than 1f. But when steading directly near a wall you can get stuck in the wall when switching direction

Version 1.4

  • Gonk Droid:
    • Is now mortal (and so are you)
    • Fires a laser projectile 
    • Takes 5 hits before dying
  • Player can only take 3
  • New enemy introduced: Auto
    • Fires a homing missle that tracks the player 
    • Deals 3 hits on impact
    • Goes down after 5 hits

Version 2.0 (finial build)

  • Changed player HP to 5
  • Gonk Droid:
    • Speed increased to 3
    • Damage increased to 2
  • Auto:
    • HP increased to 8
    • Attack cooldown increased to 3
    • Damage increased to 4
  • New enemy introduced: Shrimpinator
    • Melee type
    • Stats:
      • Speed = 4
      • Damage = 1
      • Fast attack speed
      • Health = 3
  • Complete the level by jumping on the escape vehicle on the far right
  • Visual indication when player takes damage
